A human life is like a hundred-page book.
Birth is the cover page of this book;
Death is the back cover!
With each passing year, a page turns, and we keep moving forward.

The interesting part of this book is that it has no index.
The author knows what lessons lie within, but has intentionally not listed them.
That’s what makes reading it so exciting.

Our parents are the heartwarming preface of the book.
The love of elders is the bundle of good wishes this book receives abundantly.

A line on a page of this book is one day of our life.
Each word in that line is a time segment of the day.
And each letter is the present moment held in your palm.

A comma (,) represents the people we are connected to.
A semicolon (;) is a subtle warning destiny gives before trouble arrives.
A full stop (.) at the end of a sentence is the quiet moment we get to reflect.

Verbs like “come, go, eat, drink…” reflect our daily actions.
Adjectives like “nice, amazing, foolish…” are the praises and taunts we receive.
Adverbs like “gently, suddenly, here, there…” show our ways of working and reach.

Conjunctions like “and, or, therefore…” are the opportunities we get to move ahead in life.

Single quotation marks ('...') are those moments of wisdom that come to us from time to time.
Double quotation marks ("...") are the lifelong lessons or teachings of a guru that stay etched in memory.

Folded corners of the pages are our innocent forgetfulness.
Half-torn pages are the insults we’ve faced and the shame that made us bow our heads.

A question mark (?) is a huge challenge standing in front of us.
An exclamation mark (!) is the quick solution our Creator gives to a difficult question.

The paragraphs are the twists and turns in our journey.
The chapters are a skillful blend of joy and sorrow, success and failure.
The questions at the end of chapters are the voice of our conscience asking:
– What did you learn from this success?
– What did this failure teach you?
– What is the cause of your happiness?
– What brought about this pain?

Finally, the full stop at the end of the last line on the last page is God’s message:
"Dear child, your work is done; submit your book now. There are many more I must hand this book to!"
